Overview
Nuclei provides Telegram customers with the ability to automatically export and archive all communications occurring within Telegram, including:
- Private Chat Messages
- Bot Chat Messages
- Group Chat Messages
- Supergroup Chat Messages
- Channel Chat Messages
As a first step, the "Nuclei for Telegram" archiving app must be authorized for each Telegram user. Afterwards, Nuclei will automatically export Telegram message content for review, retention, or export to your existing compliance archive.

Scope
Messages
Telegram private, bot, group, supergroup, and channel chat messages are supported for archiving. The following types of metadata are supported for each message:
- Chat ID
- Message ID
- Message Type
- Message Title
- Message Description
The following additional types of metadata are also supported for the message sender:
- Username
- First Name
- Last Name
Restrictions
Telegram "Secret Chat" messages are not supported for archiving.

Quick Start
Authorization
To enable archiving you must authorize the Nuclei archiving app.
Nuclei will provide you with the app authorization URL during onboarding and provisioning.
Uninstallation
Please create a new deprovisioning request with Nuclei.
