Overview
Nuclei provides Vidyard customers with the ability to automatically export, enrich, and archive all customer owned content published on Vidyard, including:
- Vidyard Videos
- Vidyard Video Metadata
The integration is based on Vidyard's Dashboard API. As a first step, your Vidyard admin must generate API credentials that permission access to your Vidyard account. Once complete, Nuclei will automatically export Vidyard content for review, retention, or export into your existing compliance archive.
Prerequisites
- Vidyard Administrator
- Create new API Token in Vidyard Admin portal (Admin > API Tokens)
Scope
Videos
The following types of metadata are supported for each video:
- Created At
- Updated At
- User Email Address
- User Name
- Video Name
- Video ID
Quick Start Guide
Vidyard
To enable access you must generate a new API Token in the Vidyard admin portal:
- Login to https://secure.vidyard.com
- Select "Admin" from the navbar on the left
- Select "API Tokens"
- If necessary, select "Change Folder" to access API tokens associated with a different folder.
- Make note of your Admin API token
Nuclei
After enabling capture in Nuclei you must create a new feed:
- Login to https://app.nuclei.ai
- Select "Configuration" > "Sources"
- Select "New"
- Select "Source Type", then select "Vidyard"
- Add a "Description" to the feed (optional)
- Select "Save"
Next, you will need to authorize the new feed:
- Select "Create Authorization"
- Enter the "API Token" you created in the previous step
- Select "Create Authorization"
Uninstallation
Nuclei
To pause or disable capture:
- Login to https://app.nuclei.ai
- Select "Configuration" > "Sources"
- Select the desired "Vidyard" feed
- De-select "Capture Enabled"
