Compliance Archiving for BombBomb

Overview

Nuclei provides BombBomb customers with the ability to automatically export, enrich, and archive all BombBomb communications, including:  

• BombBomb Emails
• BombBomb Email Metadata
• BombBomb Videos  
• BombBomb Video Metadata

The integration enables Nuclei customers to access and archive BombBomb content and related metadata. To enable connectivity each BombBomb team admin must first authorize an OAuth 2.0 app. Once provisioned, BombBomb content is automatically retrieved from the BombBomb V2 API and made available for archival and further processing in other 3rd party applications.

• BombBomb Team Administrator 
• BombBomb OAuth app (must be authorized for each BombBomb Team Admin)

• BombBomb Email Metadata
• BombBomb Videos  
• BombBomb Video Metadata

Email Metadata

The following types of metadata are supported for each email:  

• BombBomb Email ID
• BombBomb User ID
• BombBomb Video ID
• Email Content 
• Email Subject
• Email Short URL
• Email Create Date
• Recipient Email Address

Video Metadata

The following types of metadata are supported for each email:  

• Video ID
• Video Name
• Video URLs

Quick Start Guide 

Installation

1. Complete onboarding session to review configuration and downstream archiving requirements. 
2. Authorize the Nuclei archiving app (app URL provided by Nuclei) 

NOTE: the archiving app provides Nuclei with authorization to archive all team content owned by the authorizing team admin. If you are not using BombBomb Teams, each separate BombBomb user will need to authorize the archiving app. 

Usage

Utilization varies, and will depend on the downstream archive being used. 

Example (Smarsh Professional Archive)

1. Login to https://app.smarsh.com 
2. Select Search > New Search 
3. Select Content, and replace "All Content" with "BombBomb" 
4. Select "Search"
5. Select a BombBomb video email from the search results.
6. Replay video.
