Overview
Nuclei provides RingCentral customers with the ability to automatically export, enrich, and archive all communications taking place within RingCentral, including:
- Meeting Recordings
- Meeting Messages
- Call Recordings
- Chat Messages
- Fax Messages
- SMS Messages
- Voicemail Recordings
As a first step, the "Nuclei for RingCentral" app must be authorized by your RingCentral admin. Afterwards, Nuclei will automatically export RingCentral Team Messaging content into your existing compliance archive.
Prerequisites
- RingCentral Automatic Call Recording (optional)
- Activation of the "Enable Message Data Export" setting (optional, for messaging)

Scope
Call Recordings
The following metadata is available for each call recording:
- Call ID
- Call Type
- Date
- Duration
- Direction
- Extension ID
The following additional types of metadata are available for each recording participant:
- Phone Number
- Display Name
- Email Address
- Extension ID
- Extension Number
Chat Messages
The following metadata is available for each chat message:
- Chat ID
- Chat Type
- Chat Name
- Chat Description
- Chat Subject
- Content
- Date
- Message ID
- Message Events
- Message Notes
- Message Tasks
The following additional types of metadata are available for each chat member or guest:
- User ID
- Display Name
- Email Address
Fax / SMS / Voicemail Messages
The following metadata is available for each fax, SMS, or voicemail message:
- Record ID
- Date
- Direction
- Content
- Conversation ID
- Attachments

Getting Setup
Installation
App Authorization
Nuclei will provide you with an app authorization URL during onboarding and provisioning. The URL is used by your RingCentral admin to permission Nuclei's access to your RingCentral account:
Activate "Enable Message Data Export"
To enable the Ringcentral Compliance Export API, your RingCentral admin must activate the "Message data export capability" within the RingCentral desktop or PWA application:
- Login to https://app.ringcentral.com
- Select "Settings"
- Select "Administration", "Messaging"
- Scroll down to "Message data export"
- Activate "Enable message data export"
This setting is only required for customers that require archival of RingCentral messaging activity.
Uninstallation
- Create new deprovisioning request with Nuclei
