Overview
Nuclei provides X customers with the ability to automatically export, enrich, and archive all communication taking place on X, including:
- Direct Messages
- Tweets (Timeline)
- Tweet Attachments
The integration enables Nuclei customers to archive X content and all related metadata. Once provisioned, X content is retrieved automatically and made available available for archival and further processing in other 3rd party applications.
Prerequisites
- Twitter API v2
- You are the owner of the X account being archived.
- You have completed a new provisioning request and onboarding session with Nuclei
App Authorization
To facilitate capture of posts and direct messages, an archiving app will need to be authorized within X (Twitter). Each Twitter account will have a unique app authorization URL which will be generated to allow for activation.
Once activation is completed, there will be a splash screen in the browser to report the success.

- Conversation ID
- Direct Message ID
- Message Text
- Referenced Tweets
- Sender ID
Tweets
The following types of metadata are supported for each Tweet
- Attachments
- Author ID
- Conversation ID
- Created At
- Related Tweets
- Related Tweets Type (retweet, quoted, reply to)
- Tweet ID
- Tweet Text
