Archiving - Smarsh Enterprise Archive - Provisioning

Overview

Nuclei provides Smarsh customers with the ability to automatically export and archive content from any supported Nuclei content source directly into the Smarsh Enterprise Archive. 

As a first step, your Smarsh Enterprise Archive administrator must complete configuration of a new "Content Source" in Enterprise Archive. Afterwards, Nuclei will automatically export content directly into Enterprise Archive using the Data Ingestion API.

• Nuclei Capture
• Smarsh Enteprise Archive 

Getting Setup

Configuration

1. Login to Enterprise Archive
2. Navigate to "Archive Management"
3. Select "Content Sources"
4. Select "Add Content Source"
5. Complete all fields:
   1. Cluster Name
      1. Enter: "nuclei"
   2. Secret Key
      1. (Automatically generated)
   3. Cluster Description
      1. Enter: "Nuclei Capture"
   4. Endpoint Name
      1. Enter: "nuclei"
   5. Source Type
      1. Select "Generic Capture"
   6. Password
      1. Enter your desired password for the Content Source
6. Select Save

Submit Information to Nuclei

1. Browse to the Nuclei Help Center
2. Select "Submit a request"
3. Select "Provisioning (Smarsh Enterprise Archive)"
4. Enter all required information related to the new Content Source
5. Select "Submit"
