Overview
Nuclei Firehose is able to archive content directly into the Smarsh Enterprise Archive.
As a first step, the Enterprise Archive administrator must register a new Content Source enabling Nuclei's access to the customer's instance of Enterprise Archive.
Prerequisites
- Nuclei Firehose
- Smarsh Enteprise Archive
Quick Guide
- Login to Enterprise Archive
- Navigate to Archive Management > Content Sources
- Select the "Add Content Source" tab
- Complete all fields:
- Cluster Name: nuclei
- Secret Key: (autogenerated)
- Cluster Description: Nuclei Firehose
- Endpoint Name: nuclei
- Source Type: Generic Capture
- Password: (user defined)
- Select Save
- Submit the Content Source information to Nuclei here.
Getting Setup
Login to Enterprise Archive
Navigate to Archive Management > Content Sources
- Select "Archive Management" from the top navigation menu
- Hover over the "Content Sources" icon from the left navigation menu
- Select "Content Sources"
Add a new Content Source
- Select the "Add Content Source" tab
- Complete all fields:
- Cluster Name: nuclei
- Secret Key: (autogenerated)
- Cluster Description: Nuclei Firehose
- Endpoint Name: nuclei
- Source Type: Generic Capture
- Password: (user defined)
- Select Save
Submit the Content Source information to Nuclei
- Browse to the Nuclei Help Center
- Select "Submit a request"
- Select "Provisioning (Smarsh Enterprise Archive)"
- Enter all required information related to the new Content Source
- Select "Submit"
