Compliance Archiving for Discord

Overview

Nuclei provides Discord customers with the ability to automatically export and archive all communications occurring within Discord, including:  

• Forum Channel Threads
• Text Channel Messages & Threads
• Voice Channel Chat Messages
• Announcement Channel Messages
• Stage Channel Chat Messages
• All Message Attachments

As a first step, the "Nuclei for Discord" archiving app must be authorized for the Discord Guild. Afterwards, Nuclei will automatically export Discord message content for review, retention, or export to your existing compliance archive.

Messages

Discord messages that take place within Discord Forum and Discord Text Channels are supported for archiving. 

The following types of metadata are supported for each message:

• Channel ID
• Created At
• Message Content
• Message ID
• Message Type

The following additional types of metadata are also supported for the message sender:

• Author Display Name
• Author ID

Quick Start

Authorization

To enable archiving you must authorize the Nuclei archiving app.

Nuclei will provide you with the app authorization URL during onboarding and provisioning.

Uninstallation 

Please create a new deprovisioning request with Nuclei.
