Compliance Archiving for FX Connect

Overview

Nuclei provides FX Connect customers with the ability to automatically export and archive all communication occurring within FX Connect, including:  

• FX Connect Messages

As a first step, your FX Connect admin must configure a new data source using reporting URLs and related authentication details provided by FX Connect. Once complete, Nuclei will automatically import FX Connect messages and related activity. Content can be retained with Nuclei, or exported for review and retention in your existing compliance archive. 

Prerequisites

• FX Connect Chat URL
• FX Connect User URL
• FX Connect Authentication Credentials

Scope

Messages

The following types of metadata are supported for each FX Connect Message:

• Sell Triad
• Buy Triad
• Session ID
• Message ID
• Message
• Message Timestamp
• Message Created By

The following additional types of metadata are also supported for each message participant:

• User ID
• First Name
• Last Name
• Full Name
• Email

Getting Setup

Nuclei

To enable archiving of FX Connect content:

1. Login to https://app.nuclei.ai
2. Select "Configuration" > "Sources"
3. Select "New"
4. Select "Source Type", then select "FX Connect"
5. Add a "Description" to the feed
6. Enter the "Chat URL" provided by FX Connect
7. Enter the "Users URL" provided by FX Connect
8. Select "Save"

Next, you will need to authorize the new feed:

1. Select "Create Authorization"
2. Enter the "Username" provided by FX Connect
3. Enter the "Password" provided by FX Connect
4. Select "Create Authorization"

Uninstallation 

To disable archiving:

1. Disable "Capture Enabled" in the Nuclei source configuration.
