Compliance Archiving for YakChat

Overview

Nuclei provides YakChat customers with the ability to automatically export and archive all communications occurring within YakChat, including:  

• SMS Messages

• YakChat Account

Scope

SMS Messages

SMS messages that take place within YakChat are supported for archiving. 

The following types of metadata are supported for each message:

• Room ID
• Message ID
• Text
• Direction (inbound or outbound)
• From (phone number)
• To (phone number(s))
• Media URLs (media sent with the message)
• Company ID

The following archiving destinations are supported for YakChat archiving:

• Global Relay Archive
• Microsoft Purview
• Mimecast Cloud Archive
• Proofpoint Enterprise Archive

• Smarsh Enterprise Archive
• Smarsh Professional Archive
• Veritas Enterprise Vault
• ZL Unified Archive

Quick Start

Feed creation

To enable archiving you must create a YakChat feed.

YakChat will need to enable export to Nuclei. The company ID they share will need to be inputted as the configuration option within the feed.

Be aware that YakChat must be contacted by the customer to enable the export of SMS activity to Nuclei.

Uninstallation 

Please create a new deprovisioning request with Nuclei.
