Compliance Archiving for Microsoft Teams Chat – Nuclei, Inc.

Overview

Nuclei provides Microsoft customers with the ability to automatically export and archive all chat communications occurring within Microsoft Teams, including:

Chat Messages (One-to-one)
Chat Messages (Group)
Chat Messages (Meeting)
Chat Messages (Channel)

As a first step, the "Nuclei Compliance Archiving" app must be authorized. Afterwards, Nuclei will automatically export Microsoft Teams chat messaging content into your existing compliance archive.

Prerequisites

Microsoft requires one the following licenses to be in place for each regulated user:

Microsoft 365 E5/A5/G5
Microsoft 365 E5/A5/F5/G5 Compliance
Microsoft 365 E5/A5/F5/G5 Information Protection and Governance
Microsoft 365 F5 Security & Compliance

Nuclei customers are not billed by Microsoft for consumption or utilization beyond the "seeded capacity".

Thread ID
Chat Message Body
Chat Sender
Chat Recipients

The following additional types of metadata are also supported for each chat participant:

Display Name
Job Title
Mail
Mobile Phone
Office Location
Preferred Language
Given Name
Surname
User Principal Name
User ID

Channel Messages

The following types of additional metadata are also supported for each channel message:

Channel Identity
Channel ID
Team ID
